Love your videos Geoff. I had a Nova 1.3 SR (A reg 1984) as an 18 year old, thought I was the bees knees 😂. I then sold it and got a Ford Fiesta XR2 (E reg mk2 1987), I was the bees knees with that one 😎. I love cars, and hope we keep these tyrants away from our petrol engines. You literarely nicked it for £650 notes. 😉 Love that colour on the 850 Geoff. I had a 1997 R reg V70 2.5T back in the late 1990's in very similar (if not the same) colour with full cream leather and the same T5 alloy wheels. Was a lovely thing 👌 when nearly New.

Having been a child during several 'locking keys in car' issue situations (rover 2500, 3500, Citroen bx and maestro...) I made it habit of always undoing a window enough each time I leave the keys in the ignition, it was embarrassing enough as a child 😅

First to try, cut a credit card into a width to just fit inside the inner slot where the latch is. The latch will be snapped but you can force against the spring pressure keeping it closed. Bend the strip in a tight curve and push it into the top gap where the sneck should guid it into the slot and ping it open.

I locked my keys in my 940 once. I locked it from the inside when I was getting stuff out the back, walked away and realised the keys weren't in my hand. looked inside the car and they were in the ignition😂luckily it came with about 5 spare keys so i got the train home and came back out😅

Nice car, looks like a good Geoff buy, i never leave keys in an older car with central locking without the drivers window open for just this reason, they sometimes like to taunt us 😂

I was washing my E38 at manchester Airpoert jet wash place, at 1AM 6 weeks ago i like that time of night . its a weird thing but its an E38 . My dog pressed the central locking and the hazzards button with keys in ignition E38 then he went to sleep, TOTALY DEAD LOCKED .. So 50 mile round trip to get the spair keys from Bolton Then i got back and he had pressed it again it was open unlocked .
