At home, we spoke Spanish and at school we spoke English that’s what made easier to understand both and read and write both languages. It’s always good to know more than one language it’s not mandatory but it’s always nice to know. 😊

I give thanks that I learned spanish in NYC public schools and grew up in Corona/LeFrak Queens so I was surrounded by a ton of spanish-speakers. Cannot believe how much spanish I can actually communicate with pretty damn good when I visit spanish-speaking nations I feel alright with my struggle-spanish...
