Re: The Nadu Problem

How many land drops do you need with scute out (if that's the win on-board) to, without interaction, draw your deck (and therefore you don't have to keep track of triggers).

Assuming minimum of scute, 6th land, shuko etc., and nadu on the board.

Library will have maximum of 91 cards left (it will be less because of your hand and the turn, but this is maximum).

So when does scute triggers >= 91?

91=2*(2^x)

x = more than 5 (5.50), so at least 6 land drops with scute out.

So the 6th Nadu land flip with first scute in play WILL allow you to draw your deck and put all lands in your deck into play untapped just with all the potential triggers you will have.

So! Maybe a shortcut we could agree upon would be to say, with win on board and no interaction

"I'm trying to hit at least 6 lands, and from there I will finale with all the lands in my deck and between 50 and 150 million +X/+X scutes. Or cast thoracle."

this is my quick contribution to Winged Wisdom (TM)

At one point I saw Dylan tapped his land and his Chrome Mox in opposite directions and it absolutely tripped me out. I thought I was hallucinating

Love to see Joe get stomped a little, lot of his gameplay he brings overpowered decks to casual pods. Now he brings a casual deck to a cedh game

I think we need to start asking for minutes of gameplay or turns taken, absolute slam dunk games lol.

Seems like it'd be easier to keep track of the nadu triggers by equipping to the same creature twice in a row

Thanks for the game two, it always is a feels bad when my favorite channel only has one 9 minute game than I have to wait a week for the next one

It’s scary when Cameron just stares directly into the camera, soullessly, while Dylan talks

the meta speeding up creates this weird responsibility where blue players kind of have to look for interaction or else they might not even untap after casting their t2 value engines. it's kind of great for the parasitic non-blue decks (that arent turbo) that get to sit there and capitalize off the blue players being forced to police the turbo players

12:14 JUDGE! You have to name a card that could legally be in your deck

Isn't Blackneto the guy who is incredibly toxic when the smallest thing doesn't go his way? Like why bring a creature deck to a cEDH pod with a Nadu and a Codie? It's good to see his spirit get broken twice in one video too.

How to beat nadu? Win before turn 2.
Why didn't I think of that!😅
Thanks Dylan!

It would be cool to see you so some sort of tournament where you have different "regions" like stax, ad naus, ballista, etc. Then crown the best deck based off who wins the tournament
