I play tested this in my Najeela. The frog draws more cards than I expected

Just on two power (evolved once) this thing draws off most of the format's interaction, which is already incredibly strong in the late game when win attempts are getting pushed and interaction starts flying. And on three power, which is incredibly easy to achieve for a lot of decks given that Partner is a mechanic, it's gonna start drawing 4 cards a turn cycle. It's not for every deck, but if your commander can Evolve it and you're not playing a turbo deck, it's a very legitimate consideration alongside Faerie Mastermind and Ledger Shredder in the blue value creature slots.

I have seen this in one game and it drew 5-7 cards easy. I did kill the player with an Oracle trigger on the stack though by forcing them to draw…

This card is cracked. New staple in Blue Farm. Literally played against it tonight at a local tournament and it did so much work.

Probably gonna test it in kenrith. He triggers evolve and has an ability to pump the frog once more. I figure once it’s at 3 you’re going to get a trigger off of just about everything that’s cast

No, easily a turn one play into a turn 2 timna and Krom pumps it up too - it will see play in every blue farm deck and maybe a few others

Decks are way more interactive nowadays. For 5-10% of the time the game is going to fast, otherwise i don't think it is. Also, with the high amount of free spells in the format and the insane amount of 1 mana spell, this card will be a good investment. It's super ez to evolve this at least one time with your commander alone...

I think it’s wrong. Slaps with any partner commanders basically. Plus gets larger just by casting tymna. Then attacks the turn you casts the tymna. Larger and ready to draw more cards. Then Kraum? Shits good.

I think you massively underestimate how much it triggers in counter wars when it evolved just once. When it evolved twice it triggers basically on all interaction.

I play it in Kinnan and it has become fundamental. It has additional synergies with the new Valley Floodcaller/Enduring Vitality lines in the deck

Really good to curve this into talion on 2 so you get draws on 0, 1 and 2 (for non creatures at least)

It’s something that’ll definitely be played in cedh lists with Ardenn at the helm where he has a blue partner. Going to be testing it out in Ardenn/Ishai, but can easily still see play in things like Ardenn/Kraum, Ardenn/Thrasios, or Ardenn/Silas
