I have to believe what this man is saying, However I havn’t always had this view. I have been been saved 34 yrs now.so after all these yrs God has changed my mind about many doctrines over the yrs .Ive been sober 34 yrs now the moment God revealed Himself to me I never took another drink again. And that started my journey down the Christian path.I was 38 when god intervened in my life, Iam 73 yrs old now, it’s been quite a journey However I use to think this calvinism view was just the craziest thing I ever heard, However After much study and leading of the Holy Spirit my view has come to accept this as truth .Im pretty sure god will lead you to the same conclusion . Martyn lloyd Jones wrote 4 books on John Ch 17. Saved in Eternity, Safe in the World, Sanctified through the Truth and Growing in the Spirit. Recommended, they are timeless and insightful. MLJ was a fearless and brilliant preacher. And author.

False teaching. Induviduals are only chosen to serve in a specific capacity like a Priest, etc.

Steve Lawson quotes THE BIBLE: "Choose this day whom you will serve" (Talking to People). Steve Lawson quotes HIMSELF: "Man cannot choose God". You pick which quote from Steve Lawson you are going to trust in....Can anybody see the obvious? Something in his teaching is so so so so so so off!!! He leaves out some very important words when he quotes John 6: "I have chosen you and one of you is a devil". Lawson leaves out the part about Judas. Chosen does not mean what Steve says. Chosen means here to follow Jesus as the earthly disciples. This has nothing to do with us, but ego-centered people want to take Jesus' words and make it about their ego (self). He is not saying was Steve claims. This is a very bad Bible teaching.
