I couldn't help but sob watching this just now. I prayed and cried out to God and said God are you even going to help me?...after a situation with my 6 year old son who has autism. I know He is sovereign and I know God is doing things I can't see even though I am going through very hard things.

Amen and amen!! Dr. Lawson articulated the sovereignty of God so eloquently in this sermon clip. This is the sovereign God that reigns over all; not passively, but actively, doing everything according to his will. Isaiah 46:9-11, Proverbs 16:9, 33, 19:21, 21:1, Psalm 135:6-12, 2 Chronicles 20:6, Daniel 4:34-35, 5:21, Acts 2:23, 17:25-26, Romans 9, 11:33-36, Colossians 1:15-17, and Revelation 19:6 all testify to the sovereign rule of the Lord in majesty and power. It is a shame that this attribute is so disdained that many in the church want to ignore it or redefine it to fit their own way of thinking (instead of what the Bible clearly says). But no matter what we think, God is who He is, the sovereign God in control, and no emotional objections or scripture misinterpretation will change that. And praise the Lord that He is sovereign.
