as much as the samurai are presented as majestic and noble, the reaction of common people to their arrival is little different to that of gangsters or bandits, fear and awe. The Samurai could kill anyone of them for not showing respect, thus the reaction that they are conditioned to is one of submission.
Fantastic and breathtaking scene, flawless presentation that actually subtly highlights some of the darker sides of the samurai mythos.
