This channel is simply and by far the best truck channel on the web !!! Just testing WITHOUT trying to sell stuff to us, you realize that people want to see truck reviews NOT infomercials, thanks Ryan and staff !!

$46K for a Z71 Colorado IS a lot of money for the truck regardless of competition. No matter how many times manufactures try to push this narrative of the new normal $50K average sale price, it's a rip off.

That said, I like your videos and you do a great job. And props for the Fiero art shirt.

Love my Z71 it’s perfect for what I need it to do

GM makes the sharpest looking mid size pickups in my opinion.
Whether GMs QC has improved, that’s another question.

Z71 has turned into a sport truck. Less lift. Doesn't get the wide track or any special off road shocks. More of a trd sport competitor now

8.9” of clearance? That’s Subaru territory. I’d take the Trail Boss with a couple comfort options….like cruise control, which should be standard at that price.

No cruise control? I know another Colorado without... 😂

I really love the look of this little pickup. It has all the features I want too. I want a nice daily driver with the ability to go off road in case the stuff ever hits the fan. Also, you can tow a good amount with this little guy. But I do not know if I trust the long-term reliability of Chevy/GM. Any thoughts on reliability?

Ryan, only if your personal opinion is not a problem, because we understand that your job is to share your evaluations and everyone can make their own conclusions.
thanks

Why is the thumbnail not the same truck as you are testing?

I've got a 23 AT4 Canyon, I think the Z71 and the AT4 are basically the same. After watching this, I wish I had the manual rear and front lockers. Thanks for the awesome video!

Been shopping and you mentioned, packages, and that is the problem with the ZR1. By the time you add some decent options, you may as well look at the ZR2. Yes, two pedal ops off road is an issue.

Nice review! i wonder how many vehicles have delayed-then-abrupt autolockers causing the problems at 19:00. Do the gradual engagement systems work better? Also might be good to mention when a test trail's 4x4 class only, given the national park service's new policy of fining/imprisioning AWD drivers attempting those types of trails.

For most people Z71 will perfect. I would choose ZR2, becouse like You I like off road driving a lot. Great review as always. Greetings

Awesome video Ryan! Thanks. Oh, have you done a video on the 2024 Frontier Pro4x on this test road?

Hi there. I'd like to request that moving forward, you speak about wade depth (the height of flood water that cars can safely go through without flooding) which would be helpful with all of the rain and flooding lately. Thank you for your consideration.

Had the Colorado Z71/Canyon AT4 on my list so glad you tested this one. The GM auto locker diff isn’t my favorite either. Also considering a Ranger XLT FX4, Frontier Pro4X, and maybe a Tacoma TRD Off Road. I still need to sit in a Tacoma to see if the position works for me. Plus the Tacoma pricing is a little higher than I’d like. Really scared to see what a 4Runner TRD Off Road will cost YIKES!!

Great review Ryan, question was there any issue opening and closing the door when the truck is flexing with the rear wheel lifted off the ground?
