My dad took his advice years before seeing this movie when he redid the plumbing in our old house. Far as I know, it still has all the copper pipe in it. It cost money but it saved money. RIP Dad.

Some years ago I was on a trainride with antique carriages. They were refurbished and beautiful, but there was an issue with the 100+yrs old waterheater. I guess someone had given it an awful push or something. An 80 year old plumper took it apart, scrubbed the pipes, filled them with sand, reshaped them to the correct angle with heat, cleaned the sand off and reattached the pipes to the heater. The old thing will work just fine for another 100 years. It took him less than a couple of hours.

My brother and I used to quote our own variation of this seen when closing on a sale in business. The principal applies to every aspect of sales.

Every new home buyer should watch this, its excellent advice.

Sure it might cost more, but plumbers throughout the history of plumbing, are always more expensive next year.

I always notice the irony in what he says, because he emphasizes "quality" with these two customers while seeing a cheap hussy on the side with his marriage.

I just hired a plumber for thirty minutes ... it costs $157.23 bucks. I thought of this line and had to come see it.

Have always wondered why $10, 800, why not just an even $10, 000? Then it hit me: the $800 was so that he could buy the girlfriend the “birds fly to the stars” necklace. Wise man that Mr. Castorini.

Rep 330 is right. If you want to go cheap by today’s standards you want to use pex with shark bites.

And it is true. For most things anyway. Some things are just overpriced pieces of garbage, but usually, yes, it costs money because it saves money. ^^

Is there any truth to what he’s saying about copper pipes? Plumbers?

But Rep330 I will say this. If you own a business or if your part of one. I hope you don’t speak to your customers like that.
