I dont jetty fish anymore, but anytime mono is called for it hard to beat Trilene big game. Cheap and works great.

And you're SO right about them bluefish, they certainly are much larger on the East Shores. I don't know if you have heard of John Skinner, but he catches plenty of them too from where he is from there. He catches them huge size Blues. Going out Wed Thu and possibly Fri at them Jetties.
