How many Starship flights will we see this year and how many SLS flights in the coming years?

My youth was defined by the cold war, high profile assassinations,
civil unrest and the space program.
To this day I can still 'taste' the excitement and promise of the era.
I was with my family on our boat in Diversey Harbor, Chicago where I
watched the first moon landing on T.V. and believed anything was possible.
Any mention of these tests are 'below the fold' of media outlets, at best.
It is your series that has allowed me to witness this new history
and reignited that flame of hope for our future.
Thank You.
Be Well.

I watched Apollo growing up. The coverage today is much better. I am glad to still be alive to finally watch what should have been happening for the last 50 years.

Don't expect fully tested orbital class Starship until SN20. The Raptors are iterated to SN20 but the ship has many iterations to go. Elon mentioned this a few months ago, and he also hinted that many RUDs (rapid unscheduled disassemblies) are likely once they begin testing the aft and canard fins while they try to belly flop the steel beast through heavy atmospheric shock.

The “not for flight” components are production testing or practice units.

Remember what Musk has said ie that the real challenge is creating the production system, not the flight design.

The flight testing is almost a side effect of production system development.

"Taco Starship" is a great name for SpaceX to add to it's library. Very easy to remember -- and a fun image. Similar in some ways to "belly flop" -- used in the aerospace industry ONLY by the SpaceX community. I like it.

I'm so excited to see the 150m hop, it would be awesome seeing it fly. I hope the fire won't be a big setback.

3:10 Those top dome holes are for avionic antennas, like for communications and GPS.

The SN4 hop will most probably be postponed after DM-2. An epic explosion shortly before the launch would be bad publicity for SpaceX.

If SpaceX in carry on testing Starship like this. It'll benefit them in the long run, because of every step of the way everything's been thoroughly tested. If you look back over the last few months and years, you would never imagine, Builder starship. Outdoors with welders well it together. I'm never seen a Starship or shuttle or probe in built in this way. The normally roll amount from very tall buildings. And you see them and you think wow how do you build things like this. Here we are now . Watching step by step how to build a Starship to go to Mars. This is just awesome, great stuff top marks Love You video

Star ship updates don't normally make me feel hungry, but "Taco Domes" and "Burrito Starship" have me starving now.
Thanks, Felix!
