All the people in the comments saying this doesn't happen in Switzerland are stuck with their head in the sand. Come to geneva, lausanne, zurich, or basel, you will see these behaviors on the daily. Not necessarily the exact behaviors, but smoking part on the train, seen it, drunk barfing on the train, seen it, cutting nails on the train, seen it, a dog taking a s*** on the train, seen it, a woman giving someone a on the bus, seen it in lausanne. I am just a Swiss as y'all, stop trying to protect Switzerland's poor little image and grow up.

A lady walked up to my seat and asked if she can use the power outlet above my seat because hers doesn't work. Thinking, she needs to charge her phone, I said "sure"... She proceeded to plug in a curling iron and spent about 30 minutes curling her hair with that great hair singe smell all around us and 5 minutes complaining about the burn she got on her because the train did train motions.
