Dear Khan Academy, I think these would be much easier for kids to understand if they were taught as (A+B)^2, where in this case A = 4x, then the middle term is 2AB which shows that the "x" is part of the A term.

Thank you for the examples. I really like the idea of using different colors for the examples you make. The different colors help me understand so much better. :)
