Seeing a genius is always a mind-washing experience. It reminds me of the fact that the world is not limited to my tiny understanding.

She is undoubtedly the genius of the Century, since her childhood. The sound engineer did a superb job to blend all sounds and create the atmosphere and sound stage. Thumb's up for him/her too.

This is one of the best Martha Argerich that I’ve ever heard. A sprightly interpretation of light-hearted Beethoven. With this, she has truly proven that age is just a number. Martha Argerich the High Priestess of the Piano 🙏🏽🙏🏽.

The Orchestral Accompaniment was also superb. The smaller orchestra seemed to give a degree of sensitivity to the performance. 🙏🏽

The woman is almost 80 and plays with the suppleness of a 20yr old. She is always amazing and NEVER disappoints!

Martha is genius, of course, but what really impresses is the vibrancy and clarity in the reduced orchestral forces. It actually sounds better than with full orchestra. Better balance. The acoustics are exquisite. I regret that I was in this hall and didn’t get to hear a concert. The conductor is a gem. How could any human being not be touched by the childish joy in his face? It’s like he is discovering the music for the first time. Delightful!

I often read Martha's fan talking about "her still being" when refering her senior years recordings and performances. I find no ground for "still" here - regardless of the natural limits that age brings, here she's better than ever. And that's not "just"about musicality and insight - that here's just the perfect Beethoven 1. Even better than ever before.

How lucky the audience, how privileged are we to be able to hear this historic performance. Bravo to all - M.Argerich (unbelievable), the marvelous conductor with his pared down orchestra and for Beethoven eternal gratitude times infinity.
