Getting started with KONTAKT

In this course, ADSR instructor Stephen Ellestad teaches you the basics of Kontakt 5 as a powerful virtual instrument and creative tool.

Course topics include a tour of the Kontakt interface, working with the files & lbraries, and an overview of the Kontakt Factory Library and some of the various specialized instruments inside.

You'll also learn basic sound manipulation, articulation and automation as well as the basics of building a sampler instrument and mapping samples to the keyboard.

The course also includes dedicated tutorials that teach you how to set up and operate Kontakt as a multi-timbral, multi-output instrument inside of Pro Tools, Logic Pro X and Ableton Live.
