So a guy is selling a truck registered in West Virginia. They can sign the title and a bill of sale and don’t have to be present at the notary. If I bought it do they have to be present here in Pennsylvania for the transfers?

Hi - Nice video. Isn't there a 3rd way to verify an out-of-state VIN? Isn't a pencil/lead trace of the vin plate on white paper an acceptable verification, which doesn't require an MV-41 or physical inspection of the vehicle?

I have a question about a situation that will happen to me

I am planning to finance a new car next month right before I move to Pennsylvania. My question is about car titling/registration, I don’t have a PA license yet and I won’t stay in my current state of residence "KS" enough time to receive the title or the plates. What are my options in this situation? will I pay sales taxes for the car here in KS or in PA taking that the car dealer is planning to add the sales tax to the car price so I will finance the whole cost.

Congrats on making my life easier. I live near the area and my vehicle is from Texas. I will be visiting as soon as I get a PA Drivers License.

My vehicle is financed through a bank in Texas. I imagine I’ll need to contact the bank to receive whatever PA needs for the transfer. Any ideas on what I should ask for to get the process up and going before my plates expires. (April 2023).
