These 18% changes in goalposts by armed forces is due to DRDO’s significant delay in delivering major projects. Tejas and Kaveri engine are example of such accomplishments.

These reforms are only making nation to dark...
The committee whose report is approved is not 3rd party committee but lead by an ex armed force personnel, why would that person emphasis on services ambiguous demands and pressure by services put on production rather than research.
A non-domain person would never understand whats the technicalities inside and what lacks and what support is required.
And yes obviously, its harsh but universal truth that any private organization never work for nation priorty but always on private benefits first.

Some people are suggesting privatizing DRDO. No private industry does R&D on such a large scale. Private industries can't even develop a single drone. Just look at the influence of the Israel import lobby.
