The Problem with Biased Airsoft Reviews (SSQ22 Drama)

Airsoft, frustratingly, has no shortage of biased reviews both for and against a variety of companies and their products. Most creators have their own reasons for this whether it's sponsorships, generating clicks, or supporting competitors, the reasons are plenty. But it's us viewers that literally pay the price for this bias and very often I see players falling for this and getting disappointed with their purchase motivated by ill advice. I too have fallen victim to this in the past.

I have made this video as neutral to both sides as I possibly can in the hopes to educate airsoft players to learn from my own mistakes, to encourage critical thinking when they watch an influencer's review and to understand that some opinions, positive AND negative, can be motivated by a variety of hidden factors which should be taken into account.

I also thought the perspective and advice from a non-sponsored creator would also be a welcome one in the current Airsoft Drama.

These statements of the author are true not only for airsoft, but also for other areas of life: when buying household appliances, cars and more. The buyer is always at risk. Bloggers can be bought, they can be mistaken: a manufacturer can give a blogger a better sample, but a low-quality product will be mass-produced. You can only reduce the risk. Use logic and technical knowledge, experience. No need to believe enthusiastic promises and angry reviews.

You are correct I’m very unbiased for any airsoft gun I play with it and test what it can do then give my honest review if it’s worth it or not
