I know that some people are surprised by the style of music chosen for Frieren's OP, but I think you could see it as a song from Frieren's perspective of time. The series actually hits me hard. I haven't seen my old roommates in 5 years when I moved to cross the country even though the last time we saw each other we made plans to meet up
