Homegoing is absolutely amazing! It shows how the slave trade started and has effected several generations of a family. One of my favorite books of the year. Can’t wait to hear your thoughts.

I really enjoyed Sometimes I Lie. You start reading it, thinking you know what's going on. Then you get an OMG moment that turns everything on it's head.

I also put down Gunserley and haven’t picked it up. Hope to finish it by the end of the year (so many books I want to read) 😂

Homegoing is a wonderful story.

holy moly the cover for Absolution! That person deserves an award. I totally judge books by their cover. which is terrible lol. but some part of my brain just assumes that if the publisher invested a good amount of money in the cover design then they have confidence in the author and their writing. all of these sound really good and I'm glad you picked "Guernesey", I really enjoyed it!

The Witness Wore Red is VERY good. I’ve read a bunch of books about people who escaped that cult, and that one is one of the best.

One Hundred years of Solitude has been on my shelf for several years, I'm determined to read it before the end of the year.

Sometimes I Lie was hard to put down. The twist was great. The end had me scratching my head, but I'd love to hear your review of it.

I enjoyed “ the wife between us”..the only problem was that I read it back to back with AJ Finns “ woman in the window” and I just loved that one so much more! I literally JUST read “ sometimes I lie” last week and it blew my mind!!! Nothing like any other thriller 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Britt Marie was here was a 5 Star read I love her so so much ❤️❤️ just as good if not better than a man called ove! If you have read Eleanor oliphant is completely fine, Britt Marie’s personality will remind you of her.

I recently collected all the Karin Slaughter books and unfortunately, none of the hardbacks match! Some are the short hardbacks, some are the tall hardbacks. She switched publishers halfway through both series. So you may be better off collecting the paperbacks. Faithless is a really good book though, in case you’re wondering! The whole Grant County is great and Faithless is book #5 of 6. I love these revisit videos, thanks for sharing 😊

The gournsey literary and potatoe peel society is a really good audio book. They have a full cast and do a wonderful job.

Okay, Sarah...it's time for you to read Low Pressure by Sandra Brown, lol! I know I have really enjoyed a book when I can still remember it years after I read it. This was one of those books for me. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.

I really liked The Witness Wore Red. 4 stars mlm. I also just finished Low Pressure. It wasn't my favorite. I gave it 2 stars. but am thinking of upping it to 3. I didnt like the main characters, but there was an interesting twist. I think. Actually, I think I'll keep it at 2 stars, u can tv remember too many details and I just read it the other week.

I really liked 100 yrs of solitude. The Guernsey Literary and Potato peel pie society took me ages to read. I really enjoyed all of Fredrick Backmans books.
