I lived in Poland, Krakow for two years as teenager, because of my dads work. I went to a British School. Hardly any young person, outside of my school, spoke English at that time. And now most are fluent, at least in the big cities. I was there like 15 years ago, and it was super awesome! I had one year of Polish lessons but wow that is a diffcult language to learn. As a volleyball fan in Japan, I feel quite close to Poland because two of greatest volleyball players in the world plays for pro teams in Japan. They are Mr. Kubiak and Mr. Kurek!

Polish people come across as cool people. I met an old polish once at the airport in Germany. He lived in the US but he visited Poland and was coming back. He told me none of his kids who were raised in the US didn't care for Poland and didn't want to come back with him.
