I'm an Irishman. I've lived in the UK and Japan, visited America, France, Italy and Spain.
Honestly, they're all amazing.
I loved the mountains in Japan, the sound of wildlife in the summer, and the convenience of the bigger cities, the kind old lady who gave up their free time to teach me Japanese and took care of me like family, also loved the beautiful coastline of Shizuoka and the history and beautiful starry skies in Nikko.
I love the lake district in England, the beautiful valleys in Wales and Scotland's landscape feel like home. Newcastle and Liverpool are wonderfully friendly cities, and London gets a bad rap, much friendly than people make it out to be.
And I have the most wonderful memories of childhood holidays in coastal Portugal, Spain and Italy and the amazing people from those countries.
America... It's politics I despise, as well as its foreign policy, but I love its culture, music, animation etc. Also low key makes some amazing beer.
Canada I've never been to, but seems like a cross between America and Norway, with the best parts of both. Again, not a fan of its foreign and some stuff I've read about oil tar sands, oil pipelines and first nations treaties though.
To my shame, I really haven't seen much of Europe, I'd love to visit Germany, Austria, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Finland. Sweden, Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia, Poland, Greece.
Of all the countries though, the UK just feels the most like home, for better and for worse, which is why I'd have to say it's my favorite. Nowhere is perfect, every country has some pretty significant problems that need to be resolved, and that includes Ireland (acute housing crisis, poor public transport, homelessness, anti social behavior and police not doing enough to prevent it).

We Germans love Ireland the most... It's tradition.... since Irish monks brought the Christian faith to us old Saxons. Ireland is the most popular country in Germany without any doubt. I have been there and it is in my A nation once again
