The sheer scale of this show is unmatched.

The burn scars on Aegon are literal art, I admire the makeup team so much.

Baela's speech to Corlys was so beautiful. I hope we'll get to see many more deep scenes of her, and of Rhaena too!

Seeing Aegon in his condition gave me Anakin flashbacks 😂

I loved Olivia in the Small Council scene and that the camera just lingered and lingered with her. And Alicent figuring it out, what Aemond had done (and Cole).

the small council scene with alicent is the standout of the episode 100%. Also the symbolism of criston sharpening his sword (a symbol of violence and also a phallic symbol) while talking to and basically ignoring alicent was particularly on the nose

I love this House That Dragons Built series. It's so satisfying to see how all these artists bring the story to life.

I am grateful that HBO did this. This is another level. Not only for 1 eps but many seasons. Crazy

Baela setting Corlys straight about Princess Rhaenys. She wasn;t only his wife, but a Targaryen princess, her Grandmother, The Queen that Never Was, and she volunteered to go to Rooks Rest and died a Dragon Rider as she wanted to as well, not at sea as the heir to Driftmark, but an heir of Fire and Blood.

It is always funny to see Bracken and backwoods on the same scene…even they don't know why they hate each other but they just do because their ancestors did😂

I’m going to miss Eve/Rhaenys so much 🥲

Harry's normal speech makes him look 10 years younger than his character, bless him 🥹

We needed another Jeyne and Rhaena scene and letting Rhaena talk about her grandmother

I'm surprised Thrones has never filmed in Wales before - it's got the perfect landscapes for this type of fantasy setting.

Wales is a beautiful country. The Brecon Beacons and Snowdonia are a sight to behold and that's not even mentioning the countless historic castles that still exist. If you ever visit the UK, definitely try and visit the likes of Caernarfon and Conwy Castle, they're incredible.

0:16 Aegon LIVESSSS!??!? that makeup/prosthetic work is amazing (non book reader who barely catches details in the show)

Kinda sad they tore down the High Tide set but it is understandable. It isn't really needed this season and they can use the space for different sets.

I recalled Driftmark from ss1 is magnificent, too bad they can’t keep the set. Definitely love to visit !
