i was there that night, and sitting directly behind the soundboard. i remember the moment everyone stopped dancing and was entranced in the lights and music. jaws gaping, not a single person in my section did as much as blink. it was crazy.

Really really good Melt. Incredible energy to land the ship after a satisfying journey into madness. Love how they wasted no time dropping into the abyss which had a kind of Mahavishnu “Dance of Maya” vibe to it. Awesome.

SOAM has been my favorite Phish song since my very first show on 7/26/1992. I have heard better versions but this is the WILDEST version I have ever heard. I was looking around and everyone's jaws were wide open. I felt like I was the only one (not on the floor) who was dancing, really moving. This song had me stoked! It was real chaos theory Phish and I was loving every minute of it!!

Was in attendance for this and it is the single most face-melty piece of music I've ever seen.

I have a distinct memory of our straight-edge looking usher being turned around and utterly transfixed by this for a full 5 minutes.

This whole set was one of the best I've seen, four Type 2 15-minute jams.

My first show was the Dayton Ruby Waves show. Already was a fan but that was the best concert ever, no competition. The crowd was kind as hell and fun. Danced and smoked and danced some more.
