Adding Twin Turbos to my 69 Chevelle

This is something i've been planning for a little while and we are going to slowly turn this car into a 1000hp beast. And of course we will take it to the drag strip, do test runs, take it to the salt flats, etc.

The "cheap way" would be to do it properly and get forged parts from the start. That engine was never designed to handle boost so if you try to put those turbos on before upgrading anything there's a decent chance you'll just blow up the engine and need to get a whole new one.

You need a blow through carb not that one thats set up for NA and a fuel pressure regulator with a boost reference port

Bro you need a blow through carb for a carb/boost application don’t forget. And you fuel reg needs a boost reference port to regulate flow as well.

I suggest if you’re gonna twin turbo that thing. Upgraded the rear brakes to willwood discs. Trust me you’ll be great full to have discs, it’ll just depend on what E-Brake style you want. Weather you want a wind back style which eliminates the need to have a whole parking brake mechanism but the disadvantage being that wind back calipers can fail much more easily and require special tools to recess without damaging them or you go with the traditional style of parking brake that’s basically mini drum brakes and then just have a normal caliper.
