The "aqua-stop" could be hooked up to a foot pad switch from a sewing machine, this would allow washing of hands in a shop sink without getting dirt/grease on the tap

A dishwasher frame could be used for a sandblasting or spray painting cage. It also reminds me of a powder coating oven, but that'd require substantial modifications.

That Aquastop hose was pretty interesting. All the dishwashers in New Zealand I have dealt with have the water solenoid mounted internally and a simple pressure hose connects it to the supply. However recently in the hardware store I saw a product that was described as an Aquastop hose for a washing machine or dishwasher. It was the same principle - the main feed hose inside another one in case the internal one bursts, but it was just a hose with 3/4" threaded couplers on the ends. One thing to remember with these appliance solenoids though is they are not designed for continuous duty, so are only suitable for applications where it's just a brief supply of water to refill a container etc

Your values and basic gut level stuff (I have forgotten the German term, you know what I mean) is to work hard with what you have to make the best result. That is the American corporate system as well. Do not be insulted. My first job out of graduate school was with that Persil company. I know of what I write.

How do we tunnel into these corporate monsters and remind them of their DNA? I would like you to run a large corporation and bring them back to their roots. I used to think the rot was our US problem alone. Then came VW.
