Survivalcraft 2 - Better Than Minecraft?

Survivalcraft 2 is a direct sequel to the iconic clone of Minecraft. But has it gotten any better? Could the second part be better than Minecraft?

I played the first one. The dev was grinding and pumped out updates. They always listened to the fans. I remember on the forum, me and my dad suggested bears be added. The next update sure enough, cave bears were there. It’s really a great game from what I remember.

Survival Craft is a good survival game concept. What I love about it is the touch of realism. Your character are able to experience exhaustion, warm, cold, wet, hunger, thirst, drown, dizziness, sleepiness, food poisoning and flu. I think the only things it lack are rare creatures. Since the point of the game is to survive on the Island the dev should have added more creatures or possible inhabitants of an unknown island. Bats on the cave and Community of hostile tribal people can do. Mutated version of the said creature can also be added like Tribal People » Ghoul and Bat » Giant Bat. Mutated creatures must be located in the deep caves when day time and lurks near caves when night time

Holy cow, I remember the original Survivalcraft! They built wiring into the game before the pocket edition got that update, so it was the only way I could get my redstone fix at the time.

Man I used to play this when I was a kid so much. This is a great throwback, I cant wait to hear your review on Block Story. I used to play that online as a flash game back in the day. It was also by far my favorite MC Clone growing up and I often times found myself revisiting it. You better not forget to mention Aragog. That was the first boss I ever encountered and the one that stuck with me forever.

I played survivalcraft over a decade ago on my grandpas kindle. I saw survival craft 2 on the windows store a year or two ago for a dollar or something and it brought back soooo many memories, I still had a bunch of my old worlds from survivalcraft 1 in my google drive so I got to walk through some 3d memories.

Survival Craft is a forgotten gem! I vividly remember playing this in elementary school with my high school-aged cousins, so much fun. I at times revisit the game on a rainy day for funnsies. There was so much passion, dedication, and time put into this goofy little block game. Anyone who disapproves of this game is objectively wrong. It is an inarguable fact, not an opinion, a fact.

@Dav624 fun fact about the fun fact; The creator of Survivalcraft cannot sue minecraft and wont, minecraft was developed before survival craft and had a beta in 2009.

The creator of survival craft also was inspired by minecraft, and minecraft never copied or took inspiration from him. His tester was also his kid.

The complexity of furniture is actually measured in triangles. The more triangles the mesh contains, the more complex it is and the game limits it at 300 triangles to not lag the game
