I disagree with the minigun placement. The overheat mechanic was made BECAUSE they buffed it, made it faster and more accurate, which made it a beast. Before it was actually slow and not as good.

Yea I would probably argue Ch1 Tac SMG is the best smg of the chapter. The Compact SMG and the regular SMG got nerfed pretty noticeably before the end of the chapter (though they were both still very solid), but the Tac SMG ENDED Ch1 being stupid. Another fun part of it was it was actually decently accurate, so you could use it as a close-mid range weapon too and just run someone over before switching to your pump. Probably my favorite version of a gun in the history of the game.

love this list but i disagree with one ranking in particular. the suppressed sniper opinion for me is the opposite. the suppressed sniper is just straight up better than the bolt. sure it doesn’t one shot body shot no shields at purple. but thats the only downside of it, as bodyshot damage doesnt really matter too much on snipers, as oneshot bodyshotting somebody i consider a niche situation. and when they dont die to the bodyshot, whether its 100 damage or 121 damage, you still have a huge advantage in the fight regardless. and they both one shot to the head still. now for the upsides of the suppressed it has the obvious suppressed feature which is obviously huge for sniping. on top of this a little known feature of it is that it reloads significantly faster than the bolt action. its reload is comparable to the legendary hunting rifles speed. this is HUGE in sniper 1v1s and is also just a very good upside. it is practically a straight upgrade to the bolt action except for the niche situations where they dont die to 100 damage but do die from 121 which is very rare. suppressed all the way

10:26 the pump was actually vaulted while the drum shotgun was in the lootpool and it wasn’t until near the end of season 9 that the pump got added back and the drum shotgun was vaulted shortly after anyways

I’d say the suppressed SMG at the end of the chapter was still really good, it just didn’t have the insane damage at range. It got thrown in the dumpster in chapter 2 season 2 though when they nerfed it across the board for no reason.

4:08 Why is the storm Scout sniper so low here? It literally showed you the next storm circle, and it was the only way to see that in chapter 1.

Should’ve ranked them in their primes rather than at the end of chapter 1. Seeing weapons like the drum gun that dominated back when I still played not even make the t20 is crazy 😂

The infinity blade was nerfed into the ground by the time season X ended. You couldn’t build with it and it’s damage was absolutely destroyed

2:15 idk if you actually experienced it for yourself but even with all of those nerfs it was still a BEAST. especially in team modes but even in solos still. it was effective at countering trappers because you could enter the house of a sneaky player without setting off their traps and still blow them up. it does NOT deserve that low of a spot in any scenario whatsoever
