I was there on Saturday. A great day as ever. The Bovington Team are friendly, knowledgeable and dedicated. Always worth a visit.

It was super cool to see the Japanese tank out there. They are seemingly even more rare than German tanks.

The Sdkfz. 7 was supposed to come with the 88, but Bovington said it would be too unwieldy. Spent some time talking with Nick and Phil who were driving it, top blokes.

I've always been pulled to the M-16 with the quad Brownings, just the badass look about it. I never got into modeling military vehicles growing up, but if I were, it would have been the M-16 as one of the early ones I would have tackled. Thanks for the videos, Sofi! :)

Announcer described the half track as, wheels in the front and tracks in the back, made me think of someone describing a mullet haircut, serious in the front and wild in the back.

For some reason I’ve always loved halftracks. Both the American and the German prime mover. The prime mover is problem my favorite because they were what moved the 88’s. That despite what the 88’s did to our planes and armor.
