I use Kose Softymo as a single cleanse and it works great. I wear Skin Aqua UV Moisture Milk (waterproof), but almost no makeup. It doesn't leave leave me feeling dry or tight and I feel perfectly clean--no residue.

Great review Dana!!... even though I don't wear makeup, I do wear water resistant honestly, if a product takes away the sunscreen in one wash I am more than happy....
I've been using the KOSE one for sometime very affordable.. great results...
I still try new ones....if I'm not satisfied with the results, I just use them as a hand wash... perfect !!! and not drying to the skin...

I have used like 5 bottles of the Peach & Lily one because it's so gentle on my skin but it is pricey. I like it but i have also found other korean ones on amazon for less than half of the Peach & Lily that are more effective. Lately I've adventured to the BePlain cleansing oil and it's even better IMO.

La Roche Posay and Cerave have both released a ‘foaming cleansing oil’—they don’t really look like typical cleansing oil to me. Have you tried them? Some reviewers really like them, others don’t.

This is SUCH a helpful video. I was always curious and on the fence about the kose softymo. After seeing how well it worked on that eyeliner, that’s going to be my next cleansing oil purchase. That was really satisfying to see the makeup come off lol. I agree with you about the Byoma packaging. It seems so needlessly bulky and the gel cream I had in that brand stopped pumping out when there’s still 1/4 of the product left. It’s not easy to scrape out bc of the shape of the bottle so it feels wasteful overall.
