@TheLondon46 10-13, 14 - 18, 19 - 22 say then the intervals would really be taken as 9.5 to 13.5, 13.5 to 18.5, 18.5 - 22.5 and so on.

I did not have to as the there were 50 values less than or equal to 18 as it says in the cumulative frequency column and we wanted the 50th value.

The data is continuous. This would be the case if it were discrete.

Why did you not use interpolation for the median and just write that it's 18?

by finding out Q1, u wrote 25-10 = 5 ...???

i got 23 for Q3
but for Q1 i got 13.75
What i did was (15/16)(4) +10 =13.75
Thats the way i was taught in class is that wrong?

Because there are no gaps between the intervals in this example 5-10, 10-14 etc

You obviously did not see the annotation on this where I acknowledge the mistake. It could be that you have annotations off.
