I got the pillow to correct my posture also. My back hurts, and I slump over when I don't use it. It helps to have a place to rest your elbows. I got the Valari Pillow last Christmas, and I love it!

I don't own the pillow. But I just take breaks. When that ache starts to bother me and I loosen up the tension from holding the hook to tight And make my arm relax on my own. But I hope you feel better . I love to crochet like everyone else does it's fun. And relaxing .and you get to see the project looking great at what you made yourself. I'm saying this because it might help someone else to.

My NECK! I’m able to get positioned better so that I’m crocheting more level (straight out) and not downward.

I, too, have crocheter’s elbow. However, I crochet reclined in my chair. Do you think this pillow would be beneficial for me?

Massage therapist here. Crochet's elbow is easily fixabale. The tendons in the middle (inside) your forearm...find the painful area by pressing with your thumb...moving upor down the forearm...Once you find the ouch...pres firmly and breathe! Hold for a few seconds, like 8-10 seconds and voila. OR use a tennis ball and press that ouch on the ball and roll the ball up or down that ball...this too will fix that problem. Then ice it. Time to do some stretches of the wrists in both directions. Forward and back. Pressing hands on the table with palm and then with the back of the hand.
