At some point the entire village sorrounds her to only see her take her last breath, she goes up to heaven to see Pedro crying happy tears and they reunite once again, they are in the form of when they where around 20, like coco. But they hug as if it’s the first time they did, they squeezed with all the strength abuela has now gained. They run down to go looks at there familia and they see Mirabel being handed the candle to be the next holder, they go off together to live the life they never could
