Fowleri tang died. bacterial infections killed my saltwater fish. my fowleri tang was on his side with brown infected scratches on his body. over the course of 4 days, the fowleri tang got worse. he always ate until the day before he died. he was unable to swim, going with the current in the tank, mostly on his side. brown patches on his body got larger, which is a sign of bacterial infection. my sailfin tang has pop eye, which confirms there is bad bacteria in the saltwater tank. the order of kanaplex by seachem didn't come fast enough. my fowleri tang died the day before the meds arrived. Even if the meds got here on time, I'm not sure if I could have saved him. More oxygen in the water via air bubbles, a 20% water change and couple other things didn't help much. The 125 gallon tank is not the same without him. He's the reason I upgraded my 75 gallon 4' long tank to the 6' long tank. Fish swim mainly from left to right and I wanted him to have more swim space. RIP...he was a great fish, and very smart.

I always enjoy watching your channel. You are the one who taught me the whole cuprmine method that I use that works the best out of everything I’ve see and read. I’m really sorry for your loss! I feel your pain. Just the other day I had to fetch everything out of my reef tank and throw into quarantine otherwise would’ve lost everything. All because of a dumb invert I threw in listing to another YouTuber channel that I no longer take advice from. But there’s nothing worse then freak accident and a drop dead fish out of no where.. Usually this is caused by stress or overcrowed conditions .I recall i have several casaulties before, all cases were starting from a patch of wound and progress even worse until death in 3 days. After all these sad stories i got one notion of "All tanks have their limits of stock"...Also, your tank looks cloudy which is probably an indication of bacteria imbalance(or if you have dosed something to break that balance), any circumstances is not a good sign.

Sorry to hear about your loss Steve. I can relate 4 months I had the same thing happen and lost my powder blue tang, it is was too the reason I upgraded from a 55g to a 120g. I almost gave up, but people like yourself help to remind me how much We love this hobby.

Sorry for the loss brother. Never knew this could happen. I gave up on the hobby after velvet. Back in it thanks to you. I quarantine everything now but last week I discovered ick. How! Anyway i have a fish only system so now I'm trying your quarantine display method. Seems to be working fine. Hippo tang looks way better . Will keep you updated

Sorry about your pet loss. I lost a borbonius to an abscess that I couldn’t treat fast enough with the same meds you recommended. Nothing you can do when the infection just takes over.
