What works for me is: having my hangover filter joint together with my undergravel filter, place a small heater in the filter, I also have a net bag full of gravel inside the filter this way the ich staying in the gravel and die, keeping the water in the filter at 85° - 🤜💥🤛

In my experience I found that taking my fish out of the reef only stressed them out more. To the point where they would eventually die in quarantine because of the stress. Not only is it stressful to them but also to us because they are very hard to catch. Especially in a well stocked reef. I found the best way to deal with the problem is to boost the fishes immune system by feed, feed and feed. Seaweed is a must for them. Fresh or dry nori with the garlic. If they are eating well I would leave them in the tank and eventually the fish will become healthier, kick the ick and become immune to the parasite if he stays healthy. Again just my opinion from experience.

cure = fishless + hyposalinity qt treatment.  Best in tank remedy is water quality 0-2 ppm nitrate balanced diet low stress environment cleaner wrasse and cleaner shimp.  Copper reduces the lifespan of the fish.  Hypo is a better option.
