Create System Image Backup of Windows 8.1 and Restore from it

This tutorial is on how to create a system image backup of your Windows 8.1 I'm also going to show you how to restore from it. For this video tutorial I'm using an external Hard Drive.

SOLVED  Hi Miguel, many thanks for an exceedingly clear video. The whole subject of backup has been obscured by Microsoft. So you have to have a usb with windows iso AND a usb with the system image plugged in at the same time on the new computer?

You can do this by just doing "Windows Easy Transfer".  It will transfer all your files and emails and such to your external media. Then go under Settings and do a full format. You can bring your stuff back from Windows Easy Transfer backup.

Should I partition my external hard drive? And how? I am making not only as system image of my C and D drives for 8.1, but also for Windows 10. I plan on putting File History and other stuff like movies and photos on it too.
