Cymone Lashae, founder of faith-based mental health organization “Of a Sound Mind”, speaks with Aanchal in Season 2, Episode 4 of our Mental Health Impact Series, about her lived experience with bipolar disorder, adolescent depression, faith and mental illness.

Lashae outlines her personal journey of survival after a suicide attempt, at 20 years old, in 2011. She describes how a combination of faith and a team of professional support has guided her through facing suicidal ideation.
