I have been noticing the eco mode on my Kia Soul for 2 years but never knew what it meant until and this makes sense . My fuel economy has been horrible so yesterday I switch out my fuel injectors . I started up the car and the eco mode was on . Drove the car for a little bit and the gas mileage barely moved . That’s when I notice that this eco mean something lol I been having this car for 3 years just now finding out thank you

I have a 2014 optima with 120, 000 miles under its belt. The only difference I see is the engine makes more noise when the eco is on. No mileage improvements. But the car is very nice and dependable.

But how? Also is Eco better for city or highway driving? I've been driving my Kia Optima for a while now in both Eco, standard, and Sportmatic mode and been getting about 30 to 32mpg. My commute is mostly highway driving at 65mph.

I have a kia sportage 2014 awd 2.0 crdi and I'm wondering if in eco mode it works on all wheels or turns off the last one

I have 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid EX. This echo button does nothing. Just one more button and one more dashboard light. Thats all.

I have a 2018 forte lx and I drive mine 100% of the time in Eco drive. I've gotten some pretty high mpg numbers and have went back to the dealership where I bought it from and showed them these high numbers. They said that they honestly did not know that Eco drive worked that well bc kia does not publish Eco drive mpg for their vehicles. For all of the people who say that Eco drive in their kia does not work or work well I'm wondering if they even know what they are talking about bc mine works and I routinely get above 45 mpg while commuting to work each day.

My kia forte 2018 eco light just popped on. I don't have a button, Is there a way to control when it comes on and off?

My 2018 does not have a button. The system cannot be turned off as far as I know. I've tried all the advice from all these different channels. I was trying to get on the freeway the other day stepped on it and it wouldn't let me accelerate. You could hear the engine rubbing up and you could see it almost red lighting it. But it wouldn't accelerate because that damn mate thing is wrong as far as I could tell. And the other thing is how do you keep the radio from switching away from Bluetooth? I rather listen to my phone then satellite or any other crap especially when I'm on maps. It just keeps switching back to the radio I missed a lot of turns because of that

Every day i drive maybe like 15 to 20 minutes to work down the road from my house i live in east dallas tx and maybe 1 day or 2 in highway for 1hr to my second job towards frisco tx should i use my eco active mode all the time or no based on my story, (thats all i use my car for ) i have a 2013 kia soul BASE MODEL

I have a 2011 kia soul. The eco mode was already on when I bought the car a couple days ago. And so far my gas hasn't even moved for three days now. Plus I don't know how to turn off the eco mode anyways, I don't have a button.

Eco definitely works, I get about 420 mi without eco and 100 mi more with eco.

My 2017 Forte MANUAL transmission base model has no buttons. At 70, 000 K the eco light suddenly appeared. Nothing in manual.

I leave mine off all of the time..It only saves you about 1 extra mile..total, per fill up. :P
