Antex Solder Hot Air Rework Station Overview - SMD Board Repair

In this video I am talking a look and giving a overview of the Antex solder rework hot air station for electronics repair, board reworking and SMD replacement. This is a soldering iron and hot air station in one that is temperature controlled. This is ideal for electronic projects, robotics and drone use.

I have been using Antex soldering irons for over 20 years and am VERY happy with their performance and capabilities and while this station was sent to me to look at however I was not paid to review it or produce the video, I wanted to do some videos on some of the equipment I use and Antex product are one of the ones I have used the most when soldering and I will be showing the other ones in the longer video I have made.

Excellent review - I've got an RS-branded Antex TCSU-1 that dates back to the late 70's/early 80's and it is still working perfectly and in regular use! I just treated it to a new handle as the existing one was getting a little worn, but I have certainly had my money's worth from it!. I do wish I'd spotted this first though - the price is fabulous for hot air rework and temp-controlled soldering and the hot air wand could be used for heatshrink and many other uses.
