Years ago I painted my Toy with Rustoleum Painters touch spray bombs, Aside from a bit of fading and chalking, it held up surprisingly well for hardware store paint. A quick coat of wax cleared off the oxidized layer and made it shiny again.

Prep is the most important part. You could spray like no other but if your prep is bad the job will end up bad. You should sand with 800 and a red scotch bright. If you were sealing it I’d sand it at 180 or 220. Then you want to clean it with a wax and grease remover. Then tack it.. honestly looks pretty good but will it last 10 years? For a do it yourselfer you did a great job 👏

Spray paint works just fine. But you ain't painting a whole truck for 60 bucks. A cab sure
