Excellent work, but like others the files are not showing. and not to be found it seems. have tried 3 times...but for moment will need
to stick with saving whole ext hd, which has library and files already. but had hoped your system would be excellent for second location.
think maybe good to import files onto ext hd and create library there, and just keep it..if so important to edit pre import to eliminate space waste.

I'm going crazy :( I have to share a fcp project with another cutter to finish it. But it happens that the plugins (such as CamRig, Adjustmentlayer or others from envato) are either grayed out in the timeline or it simply does not apply the set parameters. I always send him the plugins beforehand and he installs them successfully before opening the project - he only sees WHERE I placed them, but they don't work. I would be super thankful for any ideas :(

hey Omar, thank you for this, when I check my hard drive I only see the project file, is the 'Final Cut Original Media' also supposed to save? + why do you drag the project into the date?

Hi, Thanks for showing this. Now I have project file to open on another mac but I don't know how to relocate the media. When I click on project file I created its says"To open this library backup, click Save and choose a new location to save the library". Can you please help or you have any other video how to link. Thanks

i did exactly that, it copied only the library but not the files. I'm wondering if i just copy all the original files into that library that i just saved on my DD, will all the link be allright ? Or what did i do wrong so that it didn't copy the files on my DD. There's no options it seams. Youre my only hope hobie one kenobi !! Helpp !! lol thanks 4 your help

I was looking for tips on exporting the final video file in a cropped 2.35.1 format and this video popped up and decided to watch it. Ummm forgive me if I don't understand, but what was the point of this video? For my workflow, with EVERY new client video I ALWAYS create a folder for that specific video, then create a NEW library for that specific video within that folder. That way every single thing that I do within that library (editing, file management, projects etc. ) stay in one place, and then if you need to store it for future use just drag the ENTIRE folder where ever you want. If you have a problem with missing files after moving the folder to a new drive then just go to File > relink files and select the folder and you're good to go.

what about like assets and animiations that someone has? I have an editor and said to send me his project file. but there are some text animations that don't transfer
