Dragons bane is one of the best weapons for hutao in vape teams

Hu Tao main here. I would like to add a few things:
* Weapons: Both Dragon's Bane and White Tassel should be considered and will likely perform better than the HP polearms you mentioned.
* Artifacts: If you play Hu Tao with Furina, Marechausée Hunter is definitely her best set. Otherwise, Shimenawa can be a good fit. The sands doesn't have to be HP - depending on the substats and the weapon, EM can be good as well.
* Teams: The "classic" Hu Tao double hydro team is with Xingqiu, Yelan and Zhongli (or another good shielder, but Zhongli's best). Furina would feel a bit wasted here without any healing. However, there are great Hu Tao teams with Furina, e.g. Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina, Jean. Alternatively, you can replace Jean with Xianyun for plunging, Baizhu for some Burgeons or Bennett if you have none of the others. Also, there are very technical teams with double swirl setups (e.g. Hu Tao, Yelan, Bennett, Kazuha).

This guy has no idea what he is talking about so let me help y'all.

He failed to mentions her literal BEST 4-star weapons for Hu Tao are Dragons Bane and Ballad of the Fjords. Ballad if you need EM and Crit Rate, D Bane if your artifact sub stats are meeting your crit and EM requirements. Also For 5 stars Staff of Scarlet Sands can actually out preform Staff of Homa in some cases. PJWS (jade wing spear) is a decent stat stick if you got it from the gatcha.

For artifacts this guy completely left out Hu Tao's best set, 4pc shiminawa's. It's a really resin efficient domain to farm but it's a harder set to use but it is her damage ceiling for charged attack damage, you will want a shielder like zhongli if you run 4pc shim, bcs you lose burst damage and healing. If you don't want to run a shielder than 4pc crimson witch is better. 4pc glad is terrible. Also, if you running Furina on your team, shim is okay and CW is super out classes, so the Natlan sets like the Hunters set are best in slot if you are using Furina.

He failed to mention one of Hu tao's best teams is a Xianyun plunge team. That team being Hu Tao, Yelan, Furina, Xianyun. The damage increase you get from Xianyun's plunge buff, and Furina's passive from you taking dmg and healing it back with Xianyun, actually FAR outweigh Hu Tao's below 50% HP passive dmg and staff of homa's passives so Hu Tao being at full hp doesn't matter with this team.

I recommend going to r/HuTaoMains on reddit and look at the FaQ for build advice for your account, because this guy is lost.

Thank you for showing the talents in action and explaining the effects.
It is useful for me who does not plan to pull, but I want to be ready when Hu Tao shows up as a trial character in the temporary combat events or Imaginarium.

and for those who really want to invest on their hu tao or future hu tao havers, i recommend you to pull for xianyun which makes hu tao playstyle more enjoyable + it deals HUGEEE damage on HU tao Plunge together with furina yelan and xianyun. this playstyle also doesnt require you to pull for c1 and homa if you really like her with her weapon and upgrading her stats

Shoud've included Shimenawa as it is very accessible to a lot of people from farming emblem and has almost the same or even higher dmg than CW

Decent video keeping it short, some tips you didn't mention
Xianyun plunge team, really fun, lots of damage and doesn't use stamina.
Hutao Burgeon, not as good as her other teams, but does utilise different artifacts and characters, easy to play too.
Bennett C6 is an underrated support for Hutao the fact is wasn't mentioned is proof.
You also didn't mention the artifact sets MH & Shimenawa both good under certain conditions. Sometimes out performing Crimson witch set.
Hope this helps anyone wanting to pull Hu Tao. In terms of pull value, as long as you have XQ c6 or Yelan. I think she's an 8/10 IMHO.
