Blur - 'Inertia'

Показать описание
B-side of ‘There’s No Other Way’ 7-inch, CD and Cassette. Produced by Stephen Street.
The song came into being during rehearsals at The Premises on the Hackney Road, a jazz studio memorably snooty towards this fledging rock group. 'Inertia' shares the blessed-out mood of 'Slow Down' but is much more successful, and shows how Blur experimented with their styles from the very first album. Exploring rich shoegaze-style guitars and fuzz effects, 'Inertia' is a perfect title. Defined as the resistance to change, Inertia lets you bask in a slow, repetitive melody; almost lulling the listener to sleep.
(How did they do that? Select, July & August 1995)
