I saw the flags and ignored them. I was told my weakness was my fault by her and others. I was ignorant of the FOG. It was my fault that I didn't seek outside help on my own. I wanted to believe that I had not chosen wrong in trusting her.And you are absolutely correct. It was her shame that was put upon me. Then I understood what had happened. I have lots and lots of anger and resentment anout this. I'm always blamed for the abuse. I am currently being blamed and degraded for getting a flat tire. I had to get my rims replaced due to damage from the flat tire. I can't bring the car back to the house or I'll get put down, humiliated, and blamed.i had to stand up for mysrlf and say that I don't have to tolerate abuse. My car is safer in a public parking lot than at home.

Hmmm idk about that. These are legit questions because one would sincerely wonder why someone puts up with harsh treatment?
Abusers after awhile show you who they are and more than likely won't change so it does make one wonder why stay?
