Can I please ask everyone to pray for my father. He recently went into cardiac arrest, after getting his tracheotomy surgery due to ALS. I believe that everything happens for a reason. I believe that this has been his purpose because if it was not, our God would not have allowed it to happen. Please pray that God does his will and whatever it is that God wants to happen will happen. I just do not want my dad to suffer. I trust you Lord .

So I know everyone’s story is different and discernment is definitely key but it’s so challenging as a Christian (specifically being a Christian woman in my case) when it comes to discerning the right spouse. As you said Pastor Curry it took you 8 years to discern whether or not to marry your now wife. I’d love to hear your wife’s perspective on how she still had faith to see it through during that time. I feel like the hardest part is figuring out if the person is a counterfeit, needs alone time to grow in Christ, or if you two are suppose to endure hard times and grow together. I know ideally, two people have to be whole before coming together, but it seems like in this day and age it’s kind of rare. It’s not always black or white unfortunately, and that’s what sometimes get me. But I’m definitely going to press through and get into the Word more. Thank you for this message.
