You should absolutely wash and sanitize your scalp prior. Prep it the same way a tattoo artist would to avoid fungal or bacterial infection like staphylococcus.

As you've used both, can you please clarify if derma stamping is much less painful than derma rolling?

I've been using derma roller and it's too painful for me that I can't do it thoroughly on my forehead.

Is it because I’ve been using this once every other week for the past 6 months instead of once per week? Another idea I have is using it at 1.0 - 1.25 mm most frequently out of the needle lengths for around 4 months and might try 1.5 mm soon
