Walking Cape Cod | Provincetown Commercial Street & Pier

Показать описание
Cape Cod is a premier summer destination for many, known for its vibrant clam shacks, charming shingle-style cottages, and tranquil beaches. Provincetown is located at the northern tip of Cape Cod. Standing on the historic site of the Mayflower's 1620 landing, it is celebrated by the impressive Pilgrim Monument and the adjacent Provincetown Museum. Renowned as the oldest continuous art colony in the U.S., Provincetown boasts a rich creative heritage. I walk on Commercial Street, the main street through Provincetown, and also check out some of the shopping plazas and piers.

The "historic building with the red top" reminds me of the house in Psycho. As usual, another great vlog.

Extra Thanks for this video, Linda and I went there often and loved it, haven't been back there in 19 years. Brought back all the good memories, nice to see many of the places we went to are still there. Seeing this, we hope to get back there finally after I retire next year! Many thanks for this video again, loved it !

I see that you used the beginning of this clip with the cute dog swimming for one of the scenes in your new livestream intro. 😍 Provincetown looks charming with lots of history. Some of the structures remind me of Duval Street in Key West, but the vibes seem more relaxed and calming here. It was nice to see the old architecture, local businesses, and people were enjoying their time. 😎 Thank you for sharing this relaxing stroll, AK! 🤗

Cape Cod and Provincetown look beautiful! In the simmer is nice to visit them than in Miami because it does not have the rowdy and rude people like in Miami! Love your video Action Kid!

Hey kid! Wanted to mention the library in Ptown. Hope you saw it this time. Haven’t watched this video yet but I hope you made it inside. It has a big surprise. Love your channel.

I love PTown, I usually take the ferry from Boston and camp at Dunes Edge Campground one weekend during the summer. The campground is about a 20-minute walk to Commercial Street. Shop Therapy (colorful building around 23:45) is one of my favorite shops and Yolqueria (around 47:45) on the right had great breakfast food. I usually go there for brunch right before I leave. Also, Adam's Nest (at 46:00) is a great politically and socially conscious shop that has merch with "adult" themes. And Womenscraft across from Adam's Nest is a great women owned shop selling crafts by women.

PTown is a huge LGBTQ+ destination. Many of the businesses and accommodations are owned by people within the community. During the summer, most weeks are dedicated to a specific group within the community with events to celebrate. It's a great place to get away from a big city and relax. I love that there are a lot of local businesses.
