After a rather safe entry in the franchise last year, Codemasters' F1 23 promises several changes to go with some new features. It sees the return of Braking Point, the cinematic story mode from F1 2021, and adds new characters and mechanics.

Fans can also look forward to updated cars, two new Circuits, the return of Red Flags after years and the addition of 35% Race Distance for shorter sessions. Even F1 Life, which felt like a throwaway last year, is back as F1 World, properly guiding players through various modes while offering different challenges.

F1 23 releases on June 16th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5 and PC, retailing for $70. Here's what you should know before picking it up.

Well I got this PC game yesterday on STEAM for 18.00 on sale. Still playing around with the settings and some people say the VR is very wobbly all the time. I reduced a few graphics settings and there is a tiny bit of jitter, but it works for me on my Rift S headset.

I don't do much F1 racing, but I do try the time trials the tracks. My most familiar track is Australia since I have it in other SIM Racing games. I just like doing single event races, not into doing the career series in F1. The Las Vegas Track is pretty cool, didn't try the other new track. So many features, I don't think I will ever get to all of them.
I also have F1 22 which also works in VR for the PC. Whether I get F1 24 remains to be seen unless there are new tracks in the game.

$70 for any game is a lot. Especially any type of sports game in my opinion. Not enough has changed for me to spend another $70.

I agree with everyone here. It’s not worth the launch price. Codemasters is going to get a smack in the face with lack of sales according to their fans here and on other platforms. I’ll pay 45$ USD that’s about it. Let’s face it after a month this game will be discounted or traded in by the $70 crowd.

I played the F1 23 beta and it feels and looks so much better than last years game but I will wait before buying the game just because these type of games do have bugs at launch

Ill probably get F1 23 on PC when it's on sale. $69.99 is just too much. I'm liking the new physics, especially with the steering wheel and since I have one, I'll definitely be playing with the wheel. But I'm definitely looking forward to Braking Point 2. I liked the Braking Point in F1 2021.

Regular F1 23 is $70 and champions edition is $55…. I think I’m going with champions edition
