$100 mosins would be awesome but $400 for a gun that will Outlast you is incredible

In 2013 my step-dad took me to a gun show where a man offered us an entire Mosin crate of hex receiver Mosin's for $150. I was 17 at the time so I couldn't legally purchase it, and I looked at my step-dad like, "please?!" And he just shook his head and said, "no, your mom would kill me." And walked away. That memory still haunts me 10-years later; If only I had a time machine! 😩

remember when you could get crates of them for 2k. Now the fact you pay 550-600 for one rifle now seems like a damn good deal lmao.

I’m so glad I got mine for $120 at Big 5 lol it went on clearance since no one was buying it. This is back in like 2013-14

Got my 91/30 for $80, and my M44 for $150 back in the day. Excellent rifles even for today's prices, but I'm glad I got mine before they skyrocketed

I remember seeing them in my favorite gun store in 2011. A college student/co-worker we were about to go shooting with at the range decided to pick one up and it was his first firearm purchase ever. The store just picked up a crapload of them at the time. They were $99 dollars and they'd hand pick one in good condition if you asked them.

A group of us brought all sorts of guns and would let eachother shoot everyrhing. Even with all of our fancy modern pieces, the MN was the star of the show. Incredible purchase. To think I could have picked up 10 of them for the price paid for one of the firearms I owned still blows my mind. The price hike was real. By the time I decided to grab one the price was over $300. Crazy.

Today's prices are going to be considered cheap in another 10 years which is why I'm apart of the problem and pay todays prices lol

My dad & uncle back in the day bought a crate of these. Luckily enough I still have 5. Also have the sniper & carbine variance & I think I have $500 in the 2 special ones. The others were left to me when my dad passed.

I own one that I got for $300 and it was made in 1943 as a last ditch Mosin Nagant. Mosins are pretty fun to shoot but they can be boring when you once you end up with a bigger collection, but I still love the rifle.

We’ve all heard the stories of the mythical crate of mosins for about a days wage

So I lucked into a ( apparently sort of rare ) polish m44 mosin back during covid for 250$. This thing makes all the bad stuff you hear about mosins seem like a lie. The bolt is smooth, everything operates easily . So glad I bought it

Makes me feel better about what I paid for it in 2020, thanks

I’m 20, just bought a Mosin for $300 & felt like I got away with a steal because I’ve seen them go for 5-600 easy. I envy you folks who witnessed $80 Mosins 😭
