5 parts paint, 2 parts acetone, 1/3 parts hardener. If you don't have hardener, it will still spray and look fine. It just won't be as durable.

Im using rustoleum matte clear enamel from a spray can. I sprayed it into a mixing cup so I can spray it through my spray gun. Do I need to use acetone and hardener or to thin it down or will it spray through a 1.4 tip on a cheap harbor fright purple gun. Im painting a fender.
